His expertise lies in designing and implementing safety & prevention-concepts, augmenting insurance with technology, data and services to contribute to higher safety & customer engagement at lower claims & premiums.
Onno is a partner at First Day Advisory Group, a consultancy delivering organisational change and scalable innovation in complex environments, helping organisations in their search for future-proof and sustainable business models.
He works with a range of InsurTech startups - partly in stealth mode - on strategy, value proposition and go-to-market in the areas of mobility, home and climate resilience. He is one of the co-founders of InConnect.io, a connected home insurance start-up taking safety & prevention as the starting point for a completely new customer journey. Besides working in the InsurTech eco-system, he helps incumbent insurance companies and regulators with their digital transformation.
Prior to First Day Advisory Group, Onno led the Insurance Transformation practice at global consulting solutions and managed service provider Delta Capita. He is author of several publications and is co-author of The InsurTECH Book (Wiley, 2018).
